workshop on practical QA/QC of mining and mineral exploration geochemistry

Telemark is running a workshop for the central Victorian AusIMM branch on QA/QC in mining and exploration. The practical application of QA/QC has been a specialty of Dennis' for many years and has been applied across a variety of commodities (gold, base metals, industrial minerals). The objective of this workshop is to provide a simple and practical review of sampling, analytical methods and data interpretation illustrated with relevant case studies, occasional “train wrecks” and spreadsheet exercises, followed by some quality control tasting of red wine from one of the top wine-growing regions of Victoria!
